The WB-400-VCE-12 power conditioner provides 12 outlets on the back of the rack - where you need them most. Of course if you're mounting it to the back of a cabinet or on the wall, it comes with all the necessary hardware for that, too. Connected equipment is safe and sound thanks to best-in-class surge protection of power, coax, and telephone/Ethernet – plus noise filtration for improved audio and video performance. The WB-400-VCE-12 also includes Safe Voltage protection, a feature that disconnects connected equipment when there is sustained over/under voltage. But our engineers just couldn’t stop there – this is custom install! So, instead of using inexpensive plastic, they built it like a tank with an 18 gauge steel chassis. Now THAT’S professional grade power. Normal chassis-based power products put the outlets closer to the front of the rack, making them tough to reach and in some cases impossible to use wall warts. That just didn't make sense - so our engineers came up with a better way with the patent-pending WattBox design. Exclusive back-of-rack mounting puts those hard-to-reach outlets where you need them most. And the included brackets let you mount it in any direction - straight on for traditional installation, up/down/angled for increased visibility when installed at the top or bottom of the rack, you can even recess it for easier cable management and to reduce depth. Whether you're installing into a rack, shelf, or cabinet, we have you covered! Simply turn the small bracket around backwards and the surge protector can easily mount in the back of a cabinet or on a wall. Turn the bracket facing down, apply the included feet and you can quickly secure it to a shelf or the top of the cabinet. We've been there before - you get all the power cords just where you want them, only to forget about the "wall wart" for the IR block or the network switch or the... Then you have to undo something just to make it all fit - oh... and then the bulky "wart" covers up the outlet next to it! To solve this, we have spaced the outlets as far apart as possible and turned them 90-degrees so every outlet can be used.
